☀️☀️MY IDEAL DAILY SUMMER ROUTINE - PART 1

Morning Rituals: Starting the Day Right

The key to a productive and enjoyable summer day is a mindful morning routine. This can also be helpful for the whole year. Here's how I kickstart my days:

Wake up with the sun: Try to wake up naturally, or at least before the day gets too hot. The early morning light helps to regulate your overall bodily functions. Priotize your sleep first. Aim for 7–8 hours of sleep. Reduce screen time 30 minutes before bed. If possible meditate before sleep.

Hydrate more often : Drink plenty of water, coconut water, and other hydrating beverages.  It helps rehydrate your body and kickstarts your metabolism. Drink at least 8–10 glasses of water daily. Carry a cute water bottle as reminder.     Dehydration causes fatigue before hunger does—drink first, snack later! Avoid lemon or any citric fruits in very first day of morning

Mindful Movement: Engage in 15-30 minutes of light stretching, yoga, or walk. Do physical activities for 10-15 mins and take deep breaths throughout the day. Walk after meals (10–15 minutes is enough) Try dance workouts, home Zumba, or basic stretches. Take stairs instead of elevators. Movement boosts endorphins—your natural energy and mood boosters.

Quiet Time: Spend 10-15 minutes in meditation, journaling, reading books or simply enjoying a cup of tea in silence. This sets a calm and focused tone for the day. Also you can listen to soft instrumental musics to make the mind focused. Practice mindfulness or deep breathing during stressful moments, listen to positive podcasts. Take digital breaks during the day.

Fueling the Body: Boast the energy

Summer is the perfect time to enjoy fresh, seasonal produce. Here's what my daily plan looks like. Its clean light refreshing throughout the day. Eating right in summer is just as important as dressing right.

Salads: I load up on water rich leafy green vegetables like spinach, lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, etcs and a squeeze of lime to keep light and hydrating.

Fruits: I do include fruits before evening time and trust me they are excellent for hydration and packed with vitamins and antioxidants.                Have some juice, smoothies, cold beverages for refreshment.

Curd/Yogurt: Consuming curd and lassi gives our body cooling and probiotic-rich—it’s a daily must in this hot sizzling days.

Buttermilk (Chaas): A light, traditional drink that hydrates and helps in digestion. Also consuming cold milk with tumeric before bed is good enough for this hot days.

Light & Nutritious Picks for Summer Days

I keep it light meal—but still delicious and nourishing. These are my summer staples that keep me energized without weighing me down:

Grilled Chicken or Chicken SaladComplete protein source and provides essential vitamins and minerals—tossed lightly in olive oil and herbs.Great choice for health and energy boost.

Boiled meals : Have as much as boiled meals rather than cooked in light oil for long-lasting energy and light weighted.

Lightly Spiced Meals: Just a touch of masala to keep things flavorful but not too spices for your body. Use black paper in foods which is beneficial for health.

Avoid these foods:

  • Fried & Greasy Foods
  • Excessively Spicy Foods
  • Caffeinated Drinks (Tea, Coffee, Energy Drinks)
  • Aerated/Soft Drinks
  • Junk Food & Processed Snacks
  • Red Meat (in excess
